Early Years SEND Reviewer Training - Shropshire

This DfE funded training is available only to Early Years SENCOs from PVI and Early Years maintained school settings in Shropshire Local Authority.

The review will help Early Years settings better understand what inclusive practice looks like and identify where the strengths and areas for development are within their settings.

The training consists of watching a 30- minute webcast followed by a 2.5 hour live webinar. Further supportive documents will be sent to you following the webinar together with a short evaluation form to complete.

All delegates need to have watched the recorded webcast which gives an overview of the Early Years SEND Review Guide prior to taking part in the webinar. You also need to have printed off 5 supporting documents that you will refer to during the training.

It is expected that you will complete a review/ part review of your setting 2-4 weeks after completing the training and inform your Local Authority Lead/ nasen when this has taken place. You will then be sent your Early Years SEND Reviewer certificate.
