THIS COURSE IS ONLY OPEN TO SETTINGS BASED IN DERBY CITY. We are now offering places on nasens's half-day course: The Four Broad Areas of Need; What EY Settings Need To Know. This short course will tell you all about the different areas of SEND, how childrens's needs may be identified, and what effective practice looks like for children with any of these needs. The different needs covered include: autism, speech, language and communication (SCLN), dyslexia and social, emotional and mental health needs. The course is suitable for anyone who has already attended 'Meeting the Needs of Every Child' but you do not have to attended this course - everyone who works with young children is welcome! Bring a colleague! You will receive a £25 bursary for your setting, as well as a certificate for attending. More than one person from each setting can attend. Morning session will run from 9am - 11.45am Afternoon session will run from 12:30pm - 3:15pm Twilight Session will run from 16:00pm - 18:45pm ONLY ONE SESSION WILL NEED TO BE ATTENDED
