nasen, the National Association for Special Education Needs, is a charitable membership organisation that supports and champions those working with, and for, children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities, or learning differences. nasen has been supporting the education sector since 1991 with one vison - to ensure an equitable educational experience for all.

Our mission is to support and develop the education workforce by uniting the sector through partner organisations, local authorities, governing bodies, schools and many more, to share ever-evolving practices, continued professional development and support.
nasen recognises gaps and requirements across the sector that need addressing. We aim to deliver our mission in partnership with the right suppliers and third-party products and services.
nasen International carries our mission and vision globally, supporting the rest of the world with our knowledge and services, and to learn from our international partners.
