The identification of SEN post-lockdown - tracker

This editable tool can be used to monitor the response of ALL pupils following their return to school post-lockdown, to support the appropriate identification of needs. Ideally, each teacher could use it to ensure that all pupils are being monitored. SENCOs may wish to use the tracker as part of staff development following the return to school, to support them in talking about how the identification of SEN may change in this period.

Benefits of using this resource: ALL pupils’ needs will be tracked, to ascertain whether their needs have changed, or whether they should now be identified as having SEN. This will help ensure that emerging needs are not missed, and the appropriate support put in place.
