With our dedicated Education Team we can support you and your school or setting with a range of learning options, including online, face-to-face and bespoke training. The nasen Education Team also produce and publish regular useful resources to help you and your staff in your setting.
Accredited Courses
Youth Mental Health First Aid courses
Suitable for anyone working with or supporting young people aged 8-18 years. The training will help you to have the skills and confidence to step in, offer first aid and guide them to the support they need.
NPQSL - SEND Leadership Programme
Designed to support your professional progression by enabling you to complete a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) which focuses upon SEND.
SEND Casework Award
This award is the only on-the-job training and accreditation written specifically for those directly involved in SEND casework. More than 50 local authorities and 375 candidates nationally have participated in the award.

Early Years Training and Resources
nasen offers a range of training opportunities and resources specifically for leaders and practitioners, working in the Early Years (EY). nasen is also currently working alongside, The Council for Disabled Children, I CAN, The Communication Trust, Contact, School Improvement Liverpool and Nursery World, as part of the DfE-funded EY SEND Partnership.
Recognised Teacher/Practitioner of SEND
Make a visible commitment to the principles of inclusion and become a nasen Recognised Teacher or Practitioner of SEND.
E-learning opportunities
Webcasts
Training videos which can be accessed at any time. Webcasts can be used for your own professional development or within a targeted CPD session or staff briefing. Available to Silver and Gold members.
Focus on SEND Training
A free online course aiming to help teachers and educational practitioners to develop high quality practice in order to meet the needs of their learners with SEND. This course takes a practice-led, enquiry-based and collaborative approach.
