With our dedicated Education Team we can support you and your professional progression with a range of learning options, including online, face-to-face and bespoke training. The nasen Education Team also produce and publish regular useful resources to help you and your staff in your setting.

Youth Mental Health First Aid courses

Suitable for anyone working or supporting young people 8-18. The training will help you to have the skills and confidence to step in, offer first aid and guide them to the support they need.

NPQSL - SEND Leadership Programme

NPQSL - SEND Leadership Programme

Designed to support your professional progression by enabling you to complete a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) which focuses upon SEND.

SEND Casework Award

SEND Casework Award

This award is the only on-the-job training and accreditation written specifically for those directly involved in SEND casework. More than 50 local authorities and 375 candidates nationally have participated in the award.

Early Years Training and Resources  

Over the last three years nasen have increased their offering for SEND support in the Early Years with the help of funding from the Department for Education. The EY SEND Partnership includes: The Council for Disabled Children, I CAN, The Communication Trust, Contact and nasen, School Improvement Liverpool and Nursery World. We now offer a range of resources as well as training opportunities for PVI settings.

 

 

Recognised Teacher/Practitioner of SEND

Add a new certificate to your portfolio and make a visible commitment to the principles of inclusion. nasen would like to see all teachers become a Recognised Teacher/Practitioner of SEND.
