Webcasts
What is a webcast?
Webcasts are short, on-demand training videos which can be accessed at any time. nasen produce regular webcasts to help busy education professionals to understand all aspects of effective practice in SEND.
Webcasts are available to all Silver and Gold nasen members.
Ideas for using the nasen webcasts
nasen webcasts are between 3-10 minutes in duration and offer another type of learning experience. As well as using them for your own professional development, you could use a webcast within a CPD session or staff meeting, perhaps to reinforce a particular aspect of provision or SEND-specific practice.
Webcasts could also form part of SENCO network meetings where peers consider topics such as school self-evaluation of SEND, assessment tools and data analysis across their group of schools.
It is important to us that our resources are just what you need so please tell us what you think about our webcasts by completing our survey.
Tell us how you have used the nasen webcasts. We'd love to hear how you have made use of our nasen webcasts. Tell us via e-mail or publish your experience on the SEND Gateway as a school example.
