Request for schools to support study on RSE for students with intellectual disabilities
UCL are undertaking a study to identify what is important for students with intellectual disability to learn as part of Relationships and Sex Education (RSE). The study will encompass the views of students, caregivers, teachers, and other experts. They are intending that the outcomes will be useful to teachers and researchers interested in evaluating their practice and developing a relevant offer for their students.
Schools and colleges in England can take part by providing students with intellectual disability to be interviewed to find out their views on RSE. They will be asking them to use pictures, drawings and symbols to share what they think about RSE.
