  • 27 Jan 2026 (16:00 - 17:00)
Twilight Talks

The emotional challenges of working in schools can be overwhelming.  If not processed, this can have a serious impact on staff’s mental, emotional, and physical health which can compromise their ability to perform their roles and detrimentally impinge on their lives outside of work.

At Healthymindsatwork we provide schools and trusts with supervision, coaching, workshops and leadership development  to help manage the emotional burden of their roles to reduce burn out, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.

In this workshop we will cover key principles, tools and techniques routed in psychotherapy to improve the wellbeing, productivity and resilience of educators.

Agenda:

  • The emotional challenges of working with in schools and with SEN students
  • The sponge effect, projection and how we carry feelings for our client group
  • Improving wellbeing by spotting the signs when we are struggling, knowing how to get support and filling our tanks to increase resilience
