2020 SEN Data is released

The publication provides data from the January 2020 school censuses on pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

The headlines from the data (which is based on the January 2020 census) are that the percentage of pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans has gone up from 3.1% to 3.3%, and the percentage of  pupils are SEN Support has gone up from 11.9% to 12.1%.

This means that the overall percentage of pupils identified with SEND now stands at 15.4%, up from 15% in 2019.
