“Now and Beyond” free mental health festival for schools 8th February 2023
Founded and sponsored by the youth mental health charity, Beyond, the Now and Beyond festival is a whole day of online dedicated workshops for schools. The workshops are free to view once schools have registered. There are a variety of talks through the day aimed at different age groups including a 40min staff session at 4pm with the team at the Anna Freud Centre looking at staff wellbeing and a parent & carers session around navigating the family relationships with technology at 8pm. The website also has a host of resources to use in lessons on the 8th February.
Outside of the festival there is also the opportunity to apply for funding to support mental health provision in your setting. With the youth mental health crisis now seeing more young people referred to CAMHS than ever before, Beyond hopes to mitigate some of the pressure by enabling settings to bring in emergency interim mental health support. You can apply for up to £4000 worth of mental health provision from their community of approved youth mental health and wellbeing providers.
