DfE Funded Senior Mental Health Lead Training

DfE

As part of the government pledge to offer senior mental health lead training to all state schools and colleges by 2025, the next phase of funding has been released.

The DfE is offering a grant for a senior member of school or college staff to access quality assured training to implement an effective whole school or college approach to mental health and wellbeing. Grants of £1200 will be available to around a third of all state schools and colleges this financial year. A waiting list will be created and DfE will confirm future grant funding in the spring of 2022.

Schools and colleges who are eligible can apply for a grant to cover the cost of the course from the list of DfE approved training providers.
