Free Online Training in Vision Impairment
Thomas Pocklington Trust’s free online training course, Vision Impairment – Starting the Conversation, is designed for professionals who are not vision impairment specialists and who do not work in higher education.
The course provides an introduction to vision impairment and its impact on learning and everyday experiences. Participants will gain practical knowledge, tools and strategies to help create more accessible and inclusive learning environments.
The self-paced course includes real-life case studies, practical guidance and opportunities for reflection. Topics range from understanding different aspects of vision impairment to exploring the support available for blind and partially sighted children and young people.
Flexible learning means you can complete the course in one sitting or spread their learning over a three-month period, making it easy to fit around existing commitments.
