Whole School SEND (WSS) Review Q&A Session- Shrewsbury

Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and National Association for Special Educational Needs (nasen) are recruiting 160 secondary schools for a trial of the WSS Review.

The WSS Review provides a framework that enables school leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of current SEND provision through a structured self-evaluation and peer review with another school. The SEND Review Guide and peer review process helps schools identify areas for improvement within their SEND provision, equips schools to create and review improvement plans. This evaluation process supports schools to embed a focus on SEND as a fundamental to normal school improvement practice.

Headteachers and SENCOs, join us for our WSS Review Trial Q&A on Thursday 12th March 10.00 – 11:00am. Meet with Margaret Mulholland, Project Director who will there to answer any and all questions you have about the trial.

We would like to invite you to Centre for Integral Health, The Old School House, 4 St Austin's Friars, Shrewsbury SY1 1RY . Refreshments will be provided.

Spaces are limited so email Kayla Simpson George (Project Assistant) at kaylas@nasen.org.uk to express interest in attending and to receive more information about the trial and what’s involved.
