Recognised Teacher/Practitioner Module 3 live session - Development of a professional artefact

  • Online
  • 11 Nov 2025 (15:30 - 16:30)
Recognised Practitioner
,
Recognised Teacher

These two sessions will focus on the creation of a professional artefact. These webinars are included in the "Recognised Teacher/Practitioner of SEND" module.

The sessions will give you the opportunity to discuss your thoughts and ideas to begin working on the development of your artefact.

This is the first of two live sessions that will focus on the creation of a professional artefact. Drawing on the content of the both the “An Introduction to SEND in Practice” and “Understanding and Supporting Universal Needs” modules and your own experiences we will identify an artefact that will have the most impact for your setting.

The second session builds on the work carried out in Session 1. We will address any potential refinements to the artefact that may be required or what potential barriers to implementation could be addressed.

This session will also ensure that we have an effective impact measure for the artefact allowing for an effective review of whether the aims of the artefact we achieved.

This artefact will be different for each participant as it will be shaped by their specific context. For example, it may be a new policy, a new lesson plan template, CPD to share with colleagues or the piloting of a new support strategy.

What will this session cover?

  • Applying your learning to a specific area of focus
  • Identifying an appropriate artefact with a clear rationale
  • How to evaluate the impact the artefact will have

Please note : The live session is an interactive tutorial style session and will not be recorded.
