- Online
- 17 Oct 2024 (16:00 - 17:00)
In this session delivered by Kalliopi Kritsotaki Institute of Education, UCL’s faculty for Education and Society, participants will explore how Digital Storytelling (DST) can enhance writing skills for students with dyslexia by addressing spelling difficulties and improving executive functions. Participants will become familiar with how to create supportive digital environments using word processor features and boost independent learning. We will also discuss how to use DST to foster inclusive and culturally responsive teaching and to boost critical writing skills.
By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with practical strategies to implement DST, making writing tasks more accessible and engaging for all students, including those with dyslexia.
