Free Early Years Training
The Early Years SEND Partnership have a series of free regional face to face events happening in March 2022. The venues are York, London and Birmingham, though there are a limited number of places due to COVID-19.
The events will allow you to:
• Hear about recent research on young children with SEN and disabilities
• Hear national updates on SEN and disability – Ofsted and DfE invited
• Get insights into a child’s eye view of the pandemic
• Celebrate the successes of the EYSEND partnership work across the country
• Join interactive workshops exploring different aspects of local work on SEN and disability in the early years
• Network with others who share the ambition to improve access and inclusion in the early years
This event is of interest to:
• Local authority staff with early years or SEN responsibilities
• Staff in early years settings, nurseries or schools
• Those in a range of education, health and care services with an interest in the early years
• Parent/carers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Those working with parent carers of young children and providing information and advice
• Researchers interested in how access and inclusion within the early years can be improved
