early years

In this webcast we will focus on celebration everyday by considering how  one page profiles can support the celebration of an individual child’s personality, character and strengths.

We will think about how we can use the information gathered from parents before and during transitions, combined with your own observations, to create a one page profile. One page profiles are one of many person centred tools. Person Centred thinking and tools were introduced by Helen Sanderson Associates. One page profiles are already used by many early years settings, schools, and other services who work with children young people and their families. It is a summary of what matters to the child and any specific support needs.

You may already be using ‘All about me’ document. A one page profile can be used to accompany this.
