nasen leads global inclusion agenda at Expo Dubai 2020 – join the debate!
nasen’s global arm, nasen International is leading a Virtual “In the Future… How Will We Learn?” Summit at the Expo Dubai 2020 on Friday 10th December 2021 (11.30-12.30 UK-GMT: 15.30-16.30 UAE-GST) to galvanise worldwide change for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Teachers, educators and wider individuals and organisations that share a passion for inclusion are invited to join the Meeting the Needs of Every Child Summit for free.
The Summit will explore why governments should invest in inclusion, the principals and features of an education workforce that can deliver the ambition and vision for inclusion and how governments can grow the competence and confidence of inclusive educators.
nasen CEO, Annamarie Hassall MBE will chair the Expo 2020 Meeting the Needs of Every Child Summit discussion during Education Week. Summit panellists include:
- Nehad Alhemeiri, United Arab Emirates Ministry of Community Development providing the virtual keynote address.*
- Danielle Brown MBE, two-time Paralympic gold medallist in archery, children’s author and patron of nasen
- Marcus Wilton, inspirational youth speaker, and winner of the nasen Young Person of the Year Award in 2020
- Fatima Aljasim, UAE Youth Representative
- Professor Eman Gaad, Academic, Researcher & Consultant at The British University in Dubai, and renowned scholar of Special and Inclusive Education.
