The SEN Policy Research Forum is a group with a wide-ranging membership including academics, researchers, policy consultants, local authority officers and voluntary organisations, including nasen. It regularly publishes policy papers, the most recent of which is ‘Trends in SEN identification: contexts, causes and consequences’, September 2020.
This paper provides a summary of speakers’ contributions at the policy seminar which was held in the summer and gives plenty of food for thought in the crucial area of the identification of needs.
