Continuing Professional Development and Learning (CPDL)

The most important in-school factors in improving outcomes are effective teaching, including from teaching assistants, teachers and early years practitioners, and strong leadership of SEND, from SENCOs, Headteachers, nursery managers, governors and trustees.

Our menu of Continuing Professional Development and Learning provides all professionals with the opportunity to learn, develop and improve, whether you are new to the profession, have many years of experience, or are a leader in education.

Commissioning a SEND Review from nasen

nasen now offer a SEND review programme, whereby we work with you to review SEND provision in your setting. We will support you with each stage of the review process, from an initial self-audit to reviewing provision face-to-face. From that we will help you to identify strengths and any areas to feed forward for development. Additional consultancy and follow-on training is also available to further support your setting’s SEND improvement journey.
