nasen now offers two individual membership tiers:

Core membership (free)

Essential access to sector updates, resources and professional learning.

Plus membership (£19.99 per year)

Includes everything in Core, plus full access to nasen Academy, exclusive content, discounts and member-only features.

We also offer organisational subscriptions to nasen Academy for schools, MATs, colleges and settings.

Core membership gives you access to:

• nasen updates and communications

Including our regular newsletter, Dates for Your Diary and sector briefings.

• Resource repository

A searchable bank of SEND resources, including templates, practical guides and policy documents.

• Twilight Talks

Bite-sized online CPD sessions delivered after school.

• Universal SEND Services (via Whole School SEND)

DfE-funded CPD to support whole-school inclusive practice.

Core membership keeps you informed, connected and supported.

Plus membership includes everything in Core, plus:

• Full access to nasen Academy
• One free Academy course credit per year
• Exclusive member discounts on events, resources and Academy courses
• Member-only digital badge to showcase your professional affiliation
• Welcome pack
• Exclusive policy updates from nasen’s Education Team
• Full access to nasen Connect (including the new digital format)
• Member-exclusive blogs and insight content

Plus membership is just £19.99 per year for individuals.

We don’t offer organisational membership as a product.

Instead, we offer organisational access to nasen Academy, allowing schools and trusts to:

• Allocate staff accounts
• Track training progress
• Centralise CPD delivery
• Scale learning across teams

If you were previously a free nasen member, you’ve automatically been moved to Core membership. You still have access to essential updates, resources and communications, and you’ll see no interruption to your account. 

If you’d like to access nasen Academy and enhanced benefits, you can upgrade to Plus at any time.
 

Your membership will continue as follows:

• Core membership renews automatically and remains free.
• Plus membership is billed annually.
• Organisational access is renewed in line with your original agreement.

Yes — you can cancel anytime via your account.

For Plus members, access continues until the end of the paid term.

For Core members, you account can be closed at your request.

If your Plus membership or organisational subscription is not renewed, your access to nasen Academy and Plus-only benefits will end at the conclusion of your paid period.

Your account will remain active as a Core member, and you will continue to receive free updates and access to Core resources.

nasen Academy is our flexible online learning management system for SEND professionals.

You can use the Academy to:

• Access structured CPD courses
• Track learning and completion
• Revisit content anytime
• Build long-term professional development
• Manage your learning in one place

nasen Academy access is included with Plus membership or available via an organisational subscription.

Access is available through Plus membership for individuals or via a dedicated organisational subscription for schools, trusts and services.

Yes, if you are part of a school, MAT or organisation that holds an organisational Academy subscription. In this case, your access is provided through your employer rather than an individual Plus membership.

Individual access to nasen Academy is only available through Plus membership.

Plus members and organisations receive access to a number of courses as part of their subscription.

Further courses are available to purchase separately inside the Academy platform, with pricing starting from £12.50 plus VAT.
