Free webinar for parents and carers on supported internships

The National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) have a free webinar for parents and carers of young people with an EHCP to highlight the opportunities that a supported internship can offer. The webinar will have speakers with personal experience of undertaking the programme and employers. Supported internships offer work experience and learning for young people with an EHCP so they can gain skills and develop in confidence. They provide an opportunity to take the first steps into the world of employment and use these to potentially get a paid job. The key element is facilitated support of an expert coach to support that work placement. The webinar is on Thursday 18th May, 10:30am – 12noon.
