The Big Learning Disability Survey

Mencap has launched the Big Learning Disability Survey to provide a platform for hearing the voices of people with a learning disability aged 18 and over. The survey has been fully co-produced by people with a learning disability with questions that cover topics identified as important to them, including healthcare, discrimination, mental health, money and support.

Mencap hopes that the findings will be shared and enable more organisations to provide better awareness and support to people with a learning disability. One of Mencap’s aims is to increase awareness and bust the myths around people with learning disabilities. They have a diverse group of ambassadors who are challenging those misconceptions about what living with a learning disability looks like.
