Choice Support is recruiting for their inspection ‘Experts by Experience’ teams

Choice Support are recruiting for more people to join their ‘Experts by Experience’ teams. The role was created to support the Care Quality Commission in their inspections, adding a key perspective, that of lived experience. They are looking for those who have direct experience of using health and social care services, to be employed to take part in CQC inspections of health and social care services, and visits to monitor the use of the Mental Health Act.

Since 2010 Experts by Experience have taken part in thousands of inspections. In addition to this, they have also been involved in many other events, including co-production meetings, consultations, advisory groups, and delivering presentations in CQC staff induction training sessions. These are paid positions and training is given.
