Young people encouraging others to talk about mental health this Advent

The charity Spark UK was set up in the pandemic by four young people who wanted to dispel the stigma around mental health and provide resources for schools to deliver lessons and ‘spark’ conversations around mental health.

For Advent they have created an All Star Advent Calendar launches today with a different video involving a host of famous faces talking about mental health including singers, magicians and impressionists showing off their talents. The aim is to have that time within your day to talk about mental health and to raise money for Young Minds charity.

As the pandemic continues to have an impact on mental health with young people seemingly more affected than other age groups, it is inspiring to see young people strive to support their peers.
