This resource has questions for school governors or trustees to ask their SENCO and other senior executive leaders about SEND.

All governing boards have specific legal responsibilities for pupils with SEND. Being able to offer constructive challenge to the school depends upon knowing, first of all, what questions to ask. This resource is a useful starting point with examples of key questions that governors or trustees could ask of their school.
