The Tes SEND Poetry Competition is back!

The Tes SEND Show’s national poetry competition returns for pupils in primary and secondary education to promote creative writing and conversation around SEND inclusion in the classroom.

Following the runaway success of the inaugural competition last year, Tes SEND Show are back with a new theme to inspire creative thinking in all budding poets!

Focusing on the theme ‘One world for everyone – building an inclusive future for SEND learners’, pupils are invited to put pen to paper and transform their hopes and aspirations into a poem to help encourage an inclusive future for all children and young people, especially those with SEND.

The competition opens on Thursday 21 April and allows students, classes, and teachers to submit their creative works into four categories: primary (individual), primary (group), secondary (individual), and secondary (group).
Deadline for submissions will be Sunday 31 July 2022.
