nasen and BeReady announce pivotal new partnership

nasen is delighted to announce a new partnership with BeReady, who join us as headline sponsor in a collaboration designed to strengthen support for the SEND workforce.

BeReady, a leading provider of fully funded professional development programmes, will support nasen’s flagship events – nasen LIVE and the nasen Awards – and will also partner with us to co-design a brand-new strategic education event.

Together, nasen and BeReady bring decades of expertise: nasen as the national voice of inclusion for more than 30 years, and BeReady as a trusted provider of workforce development solutions across hundreds of multi-academy trusts and thousands of schools nationwide.

This partnership will combine nasen’s highly regarded short courses and CPD with BeReady’s longer-term programmes, creating a comprehensive training offer that ranges from light-touch learning to sustained career development. The aim is to empower practitioners, strengthen inclusive practice, and ultimately improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

“For more than 30 years, nasen has been the national voice of inclusion. We are honoured to stand alongside them as headline sponsor and partner, ensuring practitioners have access to the most comprehensive SEND training offer in the UK,” said Kyle Burrows, Chief Learning Officer at BeReady.

Annamarie Hassall MBE, Chief Executive of nasen, added: “This partnership means schools and practitioners can benefit from both nasen’s short courses and BeReady’s longer-term programmes, elevating and empowering the workforce and – ultimately – improving the experiences and outcomes for children and young people with SEND.”

The partnership officially launches in September 2025 and marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between the two organisations.
