Opportunity to support research for those in special schools
A study at the University of Warwick is looking into the practices being used in special schools to teach autistic young people reading comprehension. They are interested in the factors that lead to effective teaching of reading comprehension skills as well as the barriers faced. If you are a qualified teacher or literacy lead working in a special school in the UK with autistic students and are interested in taking part more information is available via the link, https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/cedar/familyresearch/teachingreadingcomp/, or from the study lead, Olivia Kurzeja, at olivia.kurzeja@warwick.ac.uk. Participation involves an anonymous online survey of 15-20 minutes.
