Survey - Inclusive practice in post-16 settings

As part of their role as Strategic Reform Partner to the Department for Education (DfE), the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) are gathering evidence on how post-16 settings are making their settings more inclusive and meeting the needs of a wide range of young people.

The survey is designed for those who are working in post-16 settings and should only take 10 minutes to complete. The survey will close on Monday 7th April 2025.

The key aims of the survey are to understand more about:

  • What good inclusive practice looks like in post-16 settings.
  • The barriers and enablers of inclusive practice in post-16 settings.
  • Inclusive practice at key points of transition.
  • How settings meet the needs of a wide range of children and young people (e.g. social, emotional and mental health needs, physical and/or sensory needs, speech, language and communication needs, cognition and learning needs).

Participation in this survey is voluntary, and you have the right to decline to answer any specific questions. The data from this survey will be held and stored by CDC and shared with the DfE.
