provision

This resource offers prompts for six areas which should be considered when developing a provision map, as part of a strategic provision management process.

The six areas are:

  • assessment and tracking
  • monitoring and evaluation/impact and analysing data
  • developing the quality of provision
  • developing the workforce
  • identifying the right provision for all children/young people
  • knowing the vulnerabilities of all children/young people

The questions originally came from the then DfES.

This resource was first published in March 2018 and was last reviewed in October 2023.
