Session Synopsis
Children and young people with additional needs are at far greater vulnerability to abuse and exploitation, and this is acknowledged in the RSE guidance.
Learners with SEND need all the same topics to be covered as their peers but differentiated to ensure that they can access the learning that it is relevant and meaningful to them at their age, stage of development, and individual starting point.
This session will include practical tips and techniques that teachers of learners with SEND can use to support learners with SEND to access RSE, and advice on how to create and deliver a positive, inclusive and accessible for all learners.

Suitable for: A parent/carer, Assistant Head Teacher, Consultant, Deputy Head Teacher, Early Years Practitioner, Education psychologist, Governor, Head Teacher, Inclusion Manager/Leader, Newly Qualified Teacher, Other, SENCO, Senior Leader, Student, Support staff, Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Young person
