Session Synopsis & audience
Abi will explore the development of a TA network in Suffolk. The COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced the crucial role TAs undertake in schools and the Education Endowment Foundation’s, Making Best Use of Teaching Assistants guidance report and associated research, highlights the need for quality CPD to prepare staff for their role in lessons. TAs will be essential to successful inclusion beyond COVID and the Teaching Assistant Network provides delegates with a model to ‘empower, engage and enthuse’ this workforce.

Session audience: Predominantly aimed at teaching assistants and senior leadership teams in primary and secondary schools, special schools, alternative provision and further education (FE) settings.
