Welcome to nasen

nasen is the National Association for Special Educational Needs - a not-for-profit charity and the UK’s leading professional membership body for SEND.
We work with education professionals, schools, local authorities and government to shape policy, strengthen practice and improve outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities and learning differences.

Rooted in research and evidence-informed best practice, our training, guidance and resources support inclusive education across early years, schools, post-16 and wider settings - in the UK and internationally.

Together, we champion inclusion and drive meaningful, lasting change.
