Free e-learning course on Sensory Processing

The RISE (Research and Improvement for SEND Excellence) Programme, a contract funded by the Department for Education (DfE), has developed a new e-learning course entitled ‘Sensory Processing: What it is and why it matters’.  

The course covers the following topics: 

  1. Sensory systems and sensory processing differences. 
  2. Practical application of the theory and where to go for support. 
  3. Sensory environments. 

The course is free and should take around 90 minutes to complete.
