We are delighted to share that nasen trustee Mark Blois has been recognised as one of 50 global leaders on the 2025 Enable Role Model List, celebrating individuals who are championing disability, neurodiversity and mental health inclusion in the workplace.
Created by INvolve, the Enable Role Model List highlights people who are breaking down barriers, challenging stigma, and creating environments where everyone can thrive as their authentic selves. Mark’s recognition reflects his long-standing commitment to advancing disability inclusion across education, professional settings and wider society.
Mark is a top education lawyer, working for Browne -Jacobson was commended for his commitment to advancing disability inclusion in the legal profession and making this a driving force in his career.
Living with cystic fibrosis, Mark has spent more than 25 years dedicated to education-related fields and has twice been named in the prestigious Shaw Trust Disability Power 100. His personal experiences, combined with his professional leadership, have shaped his passion for improving accessibility and equality.
Speaking about the recognition, Mark said:

Mark has consistently used his voice and influence to mentor others, participate in expert panels, contribute to public discussions, and support organisations to build more inclusive cultures. Judges praised his ability to “normalise conversations around disability” and foster environments where people feel safe to share their stories and seek adjustments.
Mark’s dedication to inclusion strongly aligns with nasen’s mission to ensure that every child and young person with SEND can thrive. His insight, leadership and advocacy make a significant contribution to our work and to the wider SEND community.
