Session Synopsis & Audience
This session will provide attendees with an open and honest insight into their personal experiences as young adults growing up and living on the Autism Spectrum, providing an insight into children and young young people with SEND, their needs, strengths, achievements, challenges and aspirations.
 
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding about the importance of co-production and how crucial it is for professionals to work together with and directly involve children and young people with SEND in decision making. The session will provide attendees with examples of successful models of co-production and key top tips and important messages on how they can better engage with and support children and young people, especially those with autism.

Session audience: Relevant for all – education settings and professionals across all phases, families, people with lived experience and wider stakeholders etc.
