Session Synopsis
Mental Health and Wellbeing is a cornerstone of supporting children to access their learning. When children feel safe and content they are more likely to be able to build relationships with those around them and to learn. Many children have had a period of flux during COVID-19, the things that supported their feelings of safety, disrupted.
This session explores how we can continue to support children with mental health needs and foster those feelings of safety, contentment and belonging, drawing on two pieces of research she conducted, which involved surveying over 5,000 children about their experiences of COVID-19.
Session audience: Relevant for all – education settings and professionals, families, people with lived experience and wider stakeholders etc.
