Ofsted has released the latest findings from their recent ‘interim visits’ to six local areas to hear from children and young people with SEND, their families and practitioners and leaders who are about their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Children and Families has written to all children and young people with SEND, including their parents/carers, families, and all those who support them, to provide advice and guidance with regards to current lockdown.
The Government have today released updated guidance within the Safe working in education, childcare and children’s social care settings, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

The SEND Review was launched in September 2019, to look into the progress made since the SEND reforms of 2014/15 and help ensure that these reforms are being implemented as well as possible.
