The Hearing Impaired Service is a team of specialist teachers, known as teachers of the deaf, who provide support for children from birth who have hearing loss. The team may consist of specialist teachers who hold the mandatory qualification for teaching children and young people with a hearing impairment. The Hearing Impaired Service will provide bespoke advice and support for children, their families and education providers.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is an National Health Service (NHS) and specialises in the assessment and treatment of young people with emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties. CAMHS teams can be made up of several professionals including therapists, nurses, child and adolescent psychiatrists, doctors who specialise in mental health and social workers, as well as other professionals.
